Melbourne Airport’s Third Runway is the airport’s biggest expansion project since its original construction in the 1960s. As part of the planning process, Senversa has worked in partnership with the Melbourne Airport Environment and Sustainability Team and its delivery partners to complete detailed contaminated land assessment works, inform project feasibility and contribute to the Major Development Plan (MDP) submission. In particular, this has included provision of strategic advice on the management of legacy contamination including per-and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
