Russell is a Senior Associate in the Melbourne contaminated land team. He began his career with Senversa in 2011, followed by 7 years working abroad in the UK, before returning again to Senversa in 2022. Russell has diverse experience, ranging from soil gas assessments and the design of building protection measures, soil re-use and material management, groundwater contaminant transport studies and large-scale remediation projects. Most recently, he designed and oversaw the first phase of remediation to treat radioactive contamination from a dynamic intertidal environment in Edinburgh, Scotland. Russell is an enthusiastic traveller, having ventured through every continent (minus 1). When not travelling, he enjoys a run or hike countered shortly thereafter by a cold craft beer or single malt!
