Kate is a graduate environmental scientist in the Contaminated Land team. Graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Advanced Science – Global Challenges (Honours), she majored in chemistry and completed an honours project with the CFA and BoM which focussed on comparing grassland fire danger indices and using machine learning to model grassland curing. Refocussing on environmental chemistry, she is keen to dive into all things groundwater, monitoring and remediation. In her spare time Kate enjoys playing touch rugby and netball, going to the footy, or heading out to camp or hike when she finds the spare time.
