Site auditor services for a unique energy infrastructure
Energy
Overview
Senversa is engaged by AGL Macquarie Pty Ltd to undertake contaminated site audit of the Liddell Power Station, currently being decommissioned and remediated.
Located near Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley, Liddell was a cornerstone of Australia’s energy history. As the first major inland power station in NSW, it pioneered freshwater cooling via Lake Liddell and was one the nation’s largest power generators for decades. Today, the site presents a complex environmental legacy shaped by over 50 years of industrial activity.
The audit is ongoing, and Senversa is working closely with AGL, regulatory bodies, and technical consultants to provide independent review of contamination works being conducted to manage environmental risks and support long-term land use objectives for the site.
With a dedicated office in Newcastle, Senversa is well-positioned and committed to supporting the transformation of this iconic local site.
