Overview

As part of the ongoing Environmental Monitoring Plans for a Victorian statutory authority, with a large portfolio of sites across the state, Senversa developed the Water Management Program dashboard. The dashboard serves as a centralised platform to streamline water management programs, sample locations, and results, providing real-time insights for informed decision-making.

Challenge

The key challenge for the project was to maintain up-to-date status information for sample locations and ensure the prompt addition of new analytical results to maintain data accuracy and relevance.

The Water Management Program Portal

Senversa’s Digital Services team created a user-friendly and efficient Water Management Program Portal to address the challenges faced by the Client. The key features of the Water Management Program Portal included:

Centralised Data Management: The portal was designed to serve both the internal project team and the client, offering comprehensive information on each site through easily accessible tabs.
Sample Location Tracking: The portal enabled the tracking of water management programs for each sample location, indicating its status as active or former.
Data Visualisation: Locations could be filtered, and results for each sample location were displayed on interactive dashboards, facilitating dynamic understanding and integration of the data.
Multimedia Integration: Photo attachments and comments were incorporated into sample locations where available, providing a more comprehensive overview of site conditions.
Regular Updates: The portal was updated monthly, displaying new results as they became available, ensuring that the data remained current and relevant.

The implementation of the Water Management Program Portal led to significant improvements in the management of environmental monitoring data:
