Bridget is an environmental scientist with 20+ years’ experience in contaminated land management with a particular passion for portfolio due diligence assessment. In her role as Senversa’s Chief Operating Officer, she focuses on maintaining our employee-centric culture, quality delivery, commercial efficiency, professional development and engagement. Bridget is based in Gippsland with her three teenage children and two labradors.

Bridget is Senversa’s in-house lawyer and Company Secretary. She has over 20 years' experience in corporate/commercial law and specialises in partnering with businesses to balance risk management with delivery of commercial outcomes. The majority of her career has been spent as an in-house lawyer, but she was a big firm construction lawyer in a previous life and also spent some time at EPA Victoria. She also has an honours degree in Science from Monash University and is an NMAS Accredited Mediator. In her spare time Bridget is busy wrangling two wonderful, spirited teenagers and dreams of spending six months every year living on a Greek Island.

This has enabled Briony to have a strong appreciation of the client’s perspective and some of the challenges and issues that a client may have with other internal stakeholders and competing priorities. Briony always has her next overseas adventure planned and when she isn't jetsetting she enjoys weekends down on the Mornington Peninsula.

Chris has many years of experience in contaminated land management in Australia, China and Southeast Asia. His expertise is in the assessment, cost estimation and remediation of contaminated land and groundwater for a range of industries including manufacturing, petroleum, transport, property development and government bodies. Chris has designed and or managed the implementation of multiple groundwater remediation systems including enhanced reductive dechlorination, enhanced aerobic bioremediation via bio-sparging, in situ chemical oxidation and horizontal SVE remediation systems amongst others. Chris has degrees in Environmental Science and Geomatic Engineering, together with a Masters of Environment (Hydrogeology). Chris is mildly obsessive about maps particularly ones with roguish back-stories and quite enjoys a lunchtime trot around the Tan when work, weather & injuries permit.

Jacob has technology experience across start-ups and large corporate organisations, focussing on people focussed digital transformation. He has worked with clients in sectors including local and state government, telecommunications, education and commercial real-estate, as well as energy and resources. As Senversa’s Head of Technology & Innovation, he is responsible for leading our Digital Services group and driving our Digital Strategy internally and with our clients. Michael has over two decades of experience in environmental management. He has a degree in earth sciences from Melbourne University. He has an excellent understanding of environmental issues relevant to a diverse range of fields; manufacturing, waste, petroleum, property, insurance and government sectors. He is an Environmental Auditor (Contaminated Land) in Victoria and leads Senversa as our fearless CEO. He enjoys combining travel with live music opportunities, having previously lived in Canada, the UK and Ireland.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys watching AFL, local footy and any movie, no matter how ordinary.

Alec Nicolau is a Hydrogeologist with expertise in groundwater contamination assessments, mining hydrogeology, fate and transport modelling, and hydrogeological risk assessments. Alec leverages postgraduate studies in Hydrogeology (Masters), which underpins his expertise in conceptualising groundwater flow regimes, aquifer properties, and contaminant transport behaviour.

Alec’s professional experience covers diverse regions across rural Western Australia and Victoria, and includes work in sectors such as consulting, mining, state and local government, Defence, oil and gas, waste management, property development, and construction. He has a proven track record in project managing multidisciplinary projects involving contaminant assessments for metals, hydrocarbons (PSH, LNAPL), PFAS, pesticides, and industrial fertilisers in groundwater. Outside of work Alec enjoys spending time with his family and friends, spending time on hobbies, gardening, outdoor activities, reading and watching sports.

Alex has been working as a hydrogeologist for over 40 years in Europe and Australia.

Alex has managed and provided technical expertise to the projects related to groundwater investigation, groundwater contamination risk assessment and pollution control, groundwater modelling (flow and solute transport), groundwater hydrochemistry studies, management of groundwater resources, groundwater exploration, natural and artificial recharge studies, aquifer and unsaturated soil testing, geophysical logging interpretations and dewatering assessments.

Alex enjoys working on challenging and complicated projects finding solutions for which requires thinking outside the box. His area of expertise also includes design and installation of monitoring and production groundwater wells and piezometers as well as design, performance and supervision of aquifer tests including pumping, slug, packer and injection. Alex has been involved and has supervised wide range of field tasks for environmental, mining, aquifer storage and recovery and water resource investigations and studies.

Alex is an Environmental Consultant working in the Environmental Management and Approvals team. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Environment and Society from RMIT University, graduating with distinction in 2021, and a Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability—specialising in Corporate Environment and Sustainability Management—from Monash University, graduating in 2025. Alex has experience in environmental and carbon reporting, including working with an Australian logistics firm helping with its environmental and climate related disclosures and reporting. During this time, he also contributed to the organisation’s modern slavery compliance and reporting procedures. In his spare time, Alex enjoys running or cycling along Port Phillip Bay, supporting his favourite AFL/NFL/NBA teams, and exploring Australia’s national parks and beaches.

Alice is a Civil Engineer based in Brisbane, Queensland. She is an experienced engineering professional, dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes on complex projects within the mining and waste management sectors. She has been involved in a diverse range of projects, including river realignment design, seepage interception systems, dams, landfill cells and capping, stormwater management systems, flood studies, and construction assurance works. Alice brings a solution focused approach to design and project delivery. She works closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve practical outcomes. She has worked across landfill design and remediation, waste facility planning, feasibility studies, circular economy initiatives and contaminated land assessments. Amy’s sitework has taken her to airports, treatment plants, LPG sites, mines, landfills, and greenfield sites. She is now focused on delivering smarter waste management practices and designing, closing and remediating waste facilities that support long term environmental outcomes. Andrew's background as an Environmental Scientist & Spatial Analyst has nurtured a love for finding wisdom in messy data. Through this experience he's formed a career focused on delivering solutions with Environmental Analytics for a wide variety of environmental challenges. Most of his experience has involved working with diverse teams to solve problems using large, complex or disparate data sets, and helping to communicate complex issues using tools like GIS and statistics. Some of his experience includes: - Environmental & PFAS Data (strategy, design, delivery). - GIS and spatial analysis design, delivery and management (desktop, web, mobile, using ESRI and open source). - Data analytics, visualisation & statistics (R, RStudio/shiny, Postgres, Excel, PowerBI, etc.). - Assessment, management and risk analysis for contaminated land, human/ecological health, PFAS, acid sulfate soils. Overall, Andrew cherishes the opportunity to work with teams to find efficient ways to design and implement programs for decision making. Ashley is an Engineer within our Queensland Engineering Team who brings a unique operational waste management and landfill focus to our projects. Having worked as a client and consultant alongside a passion for project management, he is acutely aware of the challenges both parties face on a project and brings this experience to strive for delivery excellence with each of our clients. He has project managed and delivered an array of projects for the public and private sector including site selection studies, feasibility and pre-feasibility studies, impact assessments, site investigations, planning approvals support, landfill cell and capping design, and resource recovery centre conceptual designs. In his downtime, Ashley is an avid camper and loves his 4WD, routinely planning his next camping trip across the east coast or out detailing the car.

Barry is Senior Principal Hydrogeologist at Senversa, providing support to the contaminated land, geotechnical and waste engineering groups with all matters groundwater. Over the years, he has won industry awards and has authored numerous articles on contaminant and isotopic hydrogeology. Barry is very active in community renewable energy, and over the years has helped establish various small scale solar systems and wind turbines on local community buildings and schools. Barry is also heavily involved with establishing a community renewable energy park, based on wind, solar and storage, with sufficient capacity to power all of the homes in the Macedon Ranges Shire. Barry is married to Lynda, with children Luke and Ruby, and enjoys sport in his spare time (with the Woodend Golf and Cricket Clubs and recently achieved Hall of Fame status as a batsman).

Ben has experience in managing and delivering projects as both a consultant and as a technical advisor, enabling him to have a strong appreciation of the client’s perspective and some of the challenges and issues that a client may have with other internal stakeholders and competing priorities. Beyond the office, he loves nothing more than watching his kids run around a football pitch, squeezing in a round of golf and hoping that one day Arsenal can again win the Premier League title.

Blaire has experience in the environmental field, having held roles in both consulting and state government. Blaire’s particular expertise is in contaminated land assessment, groundwater and surface water interactions, and catchment management. Recently, Blaire’s role involves providing support for Senversa’s contaminated land auditors, drawing upon her knowledge of the Perth contaminated land environment and her formal qualifications in hydrogeology. When not in the office, Blaire enjoys live music, getting muddy outdoors, and roller skating.

Carolyn is a senior principal risk assessor, with experience in both human health and ecological risk assessment. She has experience, in research, regulation and consulting and has undertaken work for Defence, AirServices, land developers, mining and oil & gas companies, port and harbours, water authorities and both state and federal government. She has also provided expert legal and audit support work in relation to risk assessment. Carolyn is a fellow of the Australasian College of Toxicology and Risk Assessment (ACTRA) and is an active member of ALGA, including chairing the risk assessment specialist interest group (SIG). Her pride and joy is her rescue dog named Bindi.

She is enthusiastic about incorporating QGIS tools into her projects and applies a multidisciplinary approach to both field and office work. Chiara is an Environmental Scientist based in Senversa’s Sydney office, with experience in contaminated land management. Her project experience spans preliminary and detailed site investigations (PSIs and DSIs), data gap investigations, waste classifications, risk assessments, and the preparation of sampling and analysis quality plans. Chiara is particularly passionate about environmental justice and is driven by a desire to help create a safer, more sustainable future for both people and the planet. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time exploring nature, seeing live music and discovering new places to eat.

Chris completed his honours engineering project on the Environmental factors which impact the absorption of PFAS into consumable plants, demonstrating his drive and knowledge in environmental contaminants which impacts human and environmental health now and into the future. You’ll often find Chris fishing in Corner Inlet (His fried calamari is pretty good) or watching and playing soccer, when its not on at 3am. KTBFFH.

With over a decade of experience in Advertising and Corporate Communications in Manila, Philippines, Dale brings a strong foundation in strategic marketing, native advertising, and brand development. In 2022, she moved to Melbourne and earned a postgraduate degree in Marketing from Swinburne University of Technology. Currently, her role as Marketing Communications Coordinator is focused on content development, project management, employer branding, and data analysis and reporting. Jason frequently acts as expert witness and has done so in the UK, New Zealand and on behalf of Roads and Maritime Services and the Department of Planning and Environment on separate matters in NSW Land and Environmental Court. Jason was a successful expert on behalf of Lawrence Dry Cleaners in the first ever action against a NSW EPA Management Order in Land and Environment Court under the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997 in 2010.

Judith has been working within the contaminated sites sector for many years with specialization in human health risk assessment. Her experience has included risk assessment, site assessment and remediation. Judith has worked on numerous risk assessment projects with varying land uses, sensitivities and contaminant sources. In particular Judith has gained extensive experience in the assessment of contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). She has also gained extensive experience in the assessment of vapour intrusion through vapour migration modelling and through direct measurement such as flux emission, soil gas and ambient air sampling. In addition to these standard contaminants Judith is experienced in evaluating risk from more unusual sources including tyre wear particles and tyre additives in urban run-off. Judith also provides risk assessment audit support to Senversa contaminated land auditors in NSW and across Australia. When she is not at work Judith enjoys spending time with her two children and through them has learnt more than she very thought she would on AFL and other sporting codes.

Sven is a Civil Engineer in Brisbane’s Ground Engineering Team. Sven has over a decade's experience as a consultant, working in the waste management, infrastructure, oil and gas, and mining industries where he has developed his skills in civil engineering and project management. He has worked on and lead multidisciplinary design teams on a variety of civil engineering projects, including development and closure of landfill facilities, design of water retaining structures, remediation of contaminated sites and geotechnical design of road and rail infrastructure. Sven’s skillset includes design and specification of geosynthetics, geotechnical design and hydrology and hydraulic design. Sven also has experience in site-based rolls, including construction quality assurance of earthworks and geosynthetics, geotechnical investigation and geophysical field work.

Tony is a Principal Environmental Scientist and Environmental Auditor (appointed pursuant to the Environment Protection Act 2017) with over 30 years of continuous consulting experience in the fields of site contamination assessment, soil and groundwater remediation and groundwater management. Tony has fulfilled the role of project manager or technical director on hundreds of small to large scale contaminated land and groundwater assessment and remediation projects across Australia. Since being appointed as Environmental Auditor in 2009, Tony has completed over 40 auditing projects on a diverse range of sites ranging from small residential developments to large industrial facilities including Ford Geelong, Ford North Shore, Toyota Altona North, Commonwealth Dyers Association site in Coburg and Ford Campbellfield. Tony prides himself in being forward thinking in terms of the technical issues on projects and being proactive to avoid latent issues arising. Further to his strong problem solving and project management skills, Tony has extensive on-site practical experience in contaminated land and groundwater investigation techniques, site remediation implementation, groundwater exploration and dewatering. Outside of work Tony is a glider/sailplane instructor and airworthiness inspector, creative and experimental cook, dog walker and proud father of two energetic daughters.

Vincent Rigoli is a Civil Engineer, who completed the Master of Engineering (Civil) at the University of Melbourne in 2016. Prior to completing his Engineering Degree, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce at the University of Melbourne. Vincent has experience in landfill construction quality assurance, in both Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) and Geotechnical Inspection and Testing Authority (GITA) roles. Zoe Smith is an Environmental Scientist and Project Manager who specialises in land and groundwater contamination assessment, management and remediation. She has worked closely with a diverse range of property, transport, government, and manufacturing clients and has been heavily involved in the delivery of complex linear infrastructure projects and complex characterisation projects, investigating the extent and potential risks associated with asbestos, chlorinated hydrocarbons and PFAS in soil, groundwater, surface water and sediment.
