Matthew has been part of the Contaminated Land team for two years following completion of a Master of Environmental Science with a specialisation in Hydrogeology. His thesis focused on groundwater contamination of Fishermans Bend – more specifically, the interaction between surface water and groundwater of the Yarra Estuary and the role that tides play. Prior to this he completed a Bachelors degree majoring in Geology. Outside of work Matthew is a keen social sport enthusiast, regularly playing footy, futsal, basketball and netball.
