Ashton has worked as a contaminated land consultant in Western Australia for more than 12 years. She has worked on a range of assessments and audits for land development, mining, transport and local government clients. Ashton has also assisted in preparing expert witness evidence for a number of court proceedings. Ashton is a Certified Environmental Practitioner Site Contamination Specialist (CEnvP SC). Throughout her career, Ashton has enjoyed getting to visit sites across all parts of Australia and still enjoys getting her work boots dirty. Her enjoyment of visiting new places also extends outside the workplace, to date, South Africa has been her favourite destination, however the adventures continue…
