Ashton has worked as a contaminated land consultant in Western Australia for many years. She has worked on a range of assessments and audits for land development, mining, transport and local government clients. Ashton has also assisted in preparing expert witness evidence for a number of court proceedings. Ashton is a Certified Environmental Practitioner Site Contamination Specialist (CEnvP SC). Throughout her career, Ashton has enjoyed getting to visit sites across all parts of Australia and still enjoys getting her work boots dirty.
